Acharya Aashish is an Enlightened Master, a mystic of this day and age, who speaks in this discourse on the foremost scripture of Hinduism - The Isha Upanishad.

The Upanishads are a collection of texts which are the philosophical concepts of Hinduism, few of these concepts are also seen in Buddhism and Jainism. The Upanishads are known as utterances (shruti) which talk about the ultimate reality known as brahman, which point path towards human salvation (moksha or mukti). The basic teaching of the Upanishads revolves around to know your self-meaning the atman.

The second mantra has close relationship with the first mantra it tells that man should spend his time of life not in indolence and carelessness and there is no harm if then you desire to live up to hundred years, it tells that , but there has to be a way of living  and the way of living has to do with living here and now, the word here and now are of great importance, it simply means living in the present moment and not to bother about the past and the future, this means that one has to live moment to moment and this is only possible if you watch your thoughts, if you watch yourself, by being in meditativeness, in your consciousness this is just possible.

The third verse is all about deeds and its reactions, it say that the way you behave, the way you think  you will become so, this is true, if you think with wicked thoughts if you have wicked thoughts you are definitely going to become a wicked person, your thoughts are the real governing factor, in fact you become your thought, the more empty you become of your thoughts it makes way to bring in pure thoughts, this is the direct result of meditation, in your meditativeness, you do not flow in your thoughts, the thoughts just pass by, the anger is reduced, the greed will disappear because you do not sink in such negative thoughts, you float, this is called floatiness.
